Without overtime if these games were reported as ties the standings would look like this
Attack 11-7-2...24 points Stars 9-7-4...22 pts. Wildcats 7-8-5...19 pts. Platoon 7-11-2...16 pts.
Bandits 8-5-7...23 pts. Flames 9-8-3...21 pts. Jets 8-8-4...20 pts. Beavers 5-10-5...15pts.
I can remember a time in the NHL with ties and no overtime too. Teams would end up with over 20 ties in a season. So the Jets in this case would not have made the palyoffs.
