I have a formula for strength of schedule. Total points of opponents divided by number of games played. This gives you an average point total of your opponents in your games.
Strength of schedule for teams through games played on 4/28/06.
Wildcats 10.9 Platoon 10.44 Attack 10.125 Beavers 9.889 Flames 9.556 Stars 9.2 Jets 9 Bandits 8.778

well, looks like we're not in as bad shape as I thought we were in as long we actually win some of our easy games in the near future.

I think there is a flaw in this. I feel that you should also add the teams average point per game to the average of the teams they play. That way the team with the best record is not penalized for not playing with themselves. LOL.
Example would be;
Attack 10.125 + 1.625 = 11.75 Wildcats 10.9 + .8 = 11.7 Platoon 10.44 + .889 = 11.329 Stars 9.2 + 1.5 = 10.7 Flames 9.556 + 1 = 10.556 Beavers 9.889 + .556 = 10.445 Jets 9 + 1.25 = 10.25 Bandits 8.778 + 1.111 = 9.889
The added points are derived from points divided by games played.
Or maybe I've been drinking too much???
