The Platoon are looking for an equally good defence and possibly some $$$ in return for Lashoff.
Two deals are rumoured to been offered, neither fully satisfying the temp. GM's needs.
BUT These deals are still possible to be made.

An offer was turned down today by the Platoon, however it wasnt the deal mentioned above.
The Attack submitted a proposal but didn't meet what the Front Office of the Platoon were looking for.

I've heard the rumblings that my name has come up around the trade deadline. Im very happy with my place on the platoon, and love playing in front of the West Kendall Fans.
I would, however, welcome a chance to play with my brother in winnipeg. Its been something we have always talked about.
I trust Fernando, Boyce and Boyd to make the right choice and Id be happy with either one.

The West Kendall Platoon have decided to turn down the offer made by the Winnipeg Jets.
When Glenn Boyce, acting as GM during Fernando's absence, why he declined, he replied by saying "We in West Kendall feel that Brad Lashoff is too much of a quality player to be let go. If we had been out of the playoffs at this point then we may have accepted to give him a run at the cup but as this isn't the case we declined and chose to keep him for next year."
The Platoon are unlikely to make any moves before the trade deadline tonight at 11:59pm EST.
