Preview of Tomorrow’s games
Attack @ Stars – Game 4 – Stars lead the series 3-0
What was thought to be the more even series on paper, has actually lived up to that billing, contrary to the current state of the series. Even though the Stars lead the series three games to zero, each game has been a one goal game, something the Attack will need to keep in mind while playing on in the series. No doubt the biggest story of the first round has been the play of Carlos Matta. He now has an incredible 93.10 save percentage, and allowing six goals against in the three games. The Attack will no dubitably will need to solve Matta to try and muster a few wins, which will be much harder done then said, especially having Matta getting cheered on by the hometown faithful.
Bandits @ Jets – Bandits lead series 2-1
Home advantage has come into major effect during this series, with each of the first three games going to the home team. Jets know if they will want to win this series, they will need to win a game on the road eventually, but they are not looking past game four. Bandits will be coming out hard trying to send this series back home with a chance to end it, instead of all tied up. Both Bandits wins were desisive and controlling. Look for the Bandits to come out, and try to play a similar game to games one and two, looking to pounce early and often. It seems the Jets may have the answer to close games, which comes in very handy in this part of the season.
