Bandits @ Jets – Game 4 – Bandits lead series 2-1
After no scoring in the first period, DeBoer scores early in the second to give the Bandits the 1-0 lead.
With things looking bleak for the Jets, Boyer just throws the puck on net from the point, and it finds its way into the net to tie things up.
Less then a minute, all things pointing to overtime, but Boyer ruins those plans, netting in his second of the period with just 24 seconds left, giving the Jets the lead, very late in the game. The Jets held onto the lead for the remaining seconds, tying the series at two.
3 Stars:
1. Patrick Boyer - 2 goals, GWG.
2. KC Jones - 19 saves.
3. Tommy Remengesau - 2 assists.
Attack @ Stars – Game 4 – Stars lead series 3-0
The game starts off with save after save by both goalies, continuing the hot streak of both of them. Watson finally puts one in half way through the first period, giving the Attack a 1-0 lead.
No scoring in the rest of the first, but Choi quickly turns the second period into his. He first scores on a weak shot from the point, just seconds into the period.
Then, just five minutes later, Choi picks up a loose puck in front of the net, scoring his second of the period, and giving the Stars the 2-1 lead.
The Stars continue to press, as Krever makes a great move to bring the puck deep into the Attack zone, then Choi tips it in front of the net, getting the natural hat trick to put the Stars up 3-1, as the fans start chanting sweep.
Not soon after, Forseberg finally makes himself known in this series, scoring to cut the lead to just one.
With just fourteen seconds remaining in the second, Botelho scores to tie the game up. The fans fall silent in Toronto, watching their team blow the lead.
No scoring early in the third, until Manery picks the puck up on the wing, skating into the Attack zone and letting a laser go straight into the net, putting the Stars up 1, only 15 minutes away from advancing.
Attack unable to solve the goalie, we move into the final minutes of the third. Botehlo fires the puck into the net, tying the game up at fours, giving the Attack some hope in this series.
With most people expecting the teams to play laid back, and take it to overtime, the fans are shocked, but greatly pleased when they see Reggie Williams score with just 45 seconds left. The Attack were unable to get anything going after that, giving the Stars a 6-4 win, and a spot in the Challenge Cup.
3 Stars:
1. Reggie Williams - 2 goals, 2 assists, GWG.
2. Vincent Choi - 3 goals, 1 assist.
3. John Botelho - 2 goals.

Preview of Tomorrow’s games
Jets @ Bandits – Game 5
With the East all wrapped up, all eyes will now turn to the West final, which will come down to a best of three. Home advantage has proven to be critical in this series, having the home team win every game so far. Although that will favour the Bandits, it is hard to overlook the Jets. They are riding high after winning two in a row, and will be extra fired up to force an elimination game in their favour for game 6. Boyer once again proved huge for the Jets, and will be looked upon once again in order for the Jets to continue their streak. The aspect of the Bandits game that has been very impressive so far has been their defence. Baltimore has allowed the fewest shots against, forcing the Jets to get frustrated when the pucks do not hit Reid. The Jets will need to continue to keep their focus, stay patient, and capitalize on their chances when they do come.
News
After getting swept, the Attack may have some more bad news coming their way. Attack were in negotiations with both of their defenceman, Lars and Electric, but there have been a few kinks thrown in. The Bandits offered Electric a contract for next year, which the Attack were not happy about. Nothing is official yet, but word from the league office about the situation should clear things up.
Outside the SHL
The Mighty Ducks save off elimination for at least one more game, winning 6-3, and now losing the series 3-1.
Pistons hold off a big rally from the heat late in game 2, winning and tying the series up at one.
KC Royals lose their 13th straight game to the best team in baseball, the Detroit Tigers.
Highlight of the Night
Patrick Boyer scores with just 24 seconds left in the game to break the tie, and give the Jets a share of a tie in the series.
