One on One Interview with MVP, and Attack GM, Alex Watson
Congratulations on winning the MVP first of all. How do you think you played this season, on a personal level?
I think I played great during the regular season. Me and Forsberg Really worked well together and we helped our team get into the playoffs. My play in the playoffs though was a totally different though. I choked, I didn't score my first goal until game 4 and i just couldn't get done what I expected to get done.
The attack had a big distraction this season with the Reggie Williams distraction, but no doubt the major news of the year was the blockbuster trade with the Stars. Did you feel that you had to trade Williams, and give him a new start? And do you think that people will view the Attack as the winners of this trade eventually?
I think that Reggie going to Toronto was the best thing for him. He gets a new start away from the hostile OS fans and he also went to a competitive team that made the playoffs. I think that this trade was very close and that both teams won. It was a win/win deal.
The attack had a great season, but were unable to get the job done in the playoffs. What do you think were the major reasons for the struggles the Attack had during the series with the Stars?
As i said before I take total blame for our playoff loss. I had 48 points in 20 games during the regular season and I only managed 5 in 4 games in the playoffs. I also couldn't stop Adam Mannery-who played a great series-from setting up his team mates and putting up goals.
I am sure you will be looking to upgrade the team in the off-season, is their any certain positions, or players you are looking at to try and improve the team?
The Attack are looking to upgrade on the Blueline because of Simon Lars's incactivity.
Thanks for doing the interview, and best of luck in the upcoming off season.
Thanks for doing this interview with me.
One on One Interview with Rookie Defenseman, Allen Miller
You have been selected by many as the best defenceman available in the draft, what is it about your game that you think makes people see this in you?
Well I think that I have the whole package, as some of the other defensmen are purely offensive or defensive. I can play at both ends of the rink, set up goals, save goals and inspire our team by winning a fight.
If you had to classify your play, what kind of defenseman would you say you are? And if possible, what NHL player do you think your game most resembles?
I consider myself an "in your face" type that can still contribute offensivley. My game is almost identical to that of Chris Pronger, but also resembles Zdeno Chara, mainly because of my size.
You are a very big guy on the ice, and yet still can move on your skates quite quickly. That kind of combination is not found very often, how important of a combo is that for you?
Personally, I believe this is what sets me apart from all of the other defensmen in the draft. I am nearly 7 feet tall, but I also take pride in my speed. Every day I work on my speed and agility, hoping that I can improve my game for whoever drafts me.
You are not shy about mixing it up with the tough guys, are their already some players you may have your eyes on?
Yes, there probobly are but I'm not backing down. Most of these guys are a lot more experienced then me and I respect that. My size is one thing that can help me in my fights and I hope to win my fair share in the next season.

Highlight of the Night
After the Jets win the face-off, Remengesau scores after a quick shot, putting the Jets up in game four. That was a lead that they did not give up, as the ended up winning the game, and the first ever Challenge Cup.
Congratulations to the first ever Challenge Cup Champions, Winnipeg Jets.
