Alexei Koivu signed a deal with the Beavers to a 2 year contract, worth 3 million, plus an incentive for the Rookie of the Year
Steve Wilson signed with the Blaze on a 4 year contract worth 5.5 million dollars, plus a no trade clause, and incentives
Free Agent Signings
The Toronto Stars signed Zach Crosby to a 4 year, 9 million dollar contract, plus incentives for all star appearances, young stars game, 50 point season, and winning the Challenge Cup.
Resignings
The Jets announced the resigning of Chad Lyzohirkaa to a 3 year, 7.5 million dollar contract, with the final one being a team option, plus incentives. Lyzohirkaa was offered more money by a few other teams, but still decided to stay with the defending Challenge Cup Champions.
Restructuring of Contracts
The Winnipeg Jets announced the restructuring of Patrick Boyers contract. He will now be paid 12.5 million dollars, over 5 years.

The Stars traded Adam Simms to the Bandits in exchange for 3 million dollars.
Contract Negotiations
After aquiring him earlier in a trade, the Bandits have offered Adam Simms a 4 year, 10 million dollar contract
Jacob Fox has become the most highly toughted free agent on the market this season, with interest from the Wildcats, Dragons, and the Blaze. It seems as the Wildcats the ones that have jumped ahead in the negotiations, but it will just take one offer to change all of that.
Other News
The conterversy over the appointment of Reggie Williams as the new GM of the Blaze has continued to come under fire. Many opponents to that decision include Tyler Williams, Mike Szatkowski, and Andy Minhas. All feel that due to the suspension of Reggie Williams from last year, he should not have a team in this league, but that has been overruled by the commissioner of the SHL.
Outside the SHL
The Pistons stay alive in their season with 29 points from Prince, as they are now down 3-2.
The Toronto Leafs agreed to a 5 year contract with Bryan McCabe.
Wayne Gretzky signed on to a 5 year contract extension as the head coach of the Phoenix Coyotes.
